Halloween things are on clearance 50% off. I found some plates and napkins that can be donated to next year’s classroom parties as well as next year’s Darth Vader costume for my son. I hope to milk that costume for at least 2 years.

This is a good time of year to stock up on ham and turkey. That turkey you see was $0.69/lb, and I will be making it for my family and sending some down to my father, who doesn’t cook, along with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and beans.

This week, if you take advantage of the $5 off when you buy 10 sale, you can get Land ‘O Lakes butter for $2, which is my stock up price. I have 5 pounds of butter in my fridge and 3 in my freezer right now. Eggs are 79 cents this week, and will only be 54 cents if you use the Ibotta rebate.

Aldi: $23.69

Aldi has its own Halloween clearance. The marshmallows were 50 cents each!

Weekly total: $95.11

Running total: $215.99
