Frugal Step: Grocery Budget 2nd Week of November

Jen

Feed 5 for $100week

Dorothy Lane (not pictured): $35.08

My husband has been coaching an athletic clinic all weekend, so I didn’t have time for a half day shopping trip. My mom watched the kids for a couple hours Friday so I could do school conferences, and I ran to the pricey neighborhood store to get a few things we were going to need.

I picked up bread, bananas, lettuce, salad dressing (Vidalia Onion and Cilantro-yum!), chips, plus all the fixings for a huge vat of beef vegetable soup.

Kroger #1: $65.68

2015-11-07 20.23.23

I used the mega sale to get cheap pasta for my stockpile, as we are running low.

Kroger #2: Soy milk for my husband- $8

Total: $108.76

I am trying the Ibotta app for the first time , so I may get $3 back from my Kroger run. I’m waiting for my rebate to be approved as we speak.
